On 15th December 2023 an unscheduled spotting tour took place at Tashkent🇺🇿 airport
📆 2023-12-15
On 15th December 2023 an unscheduled spotting tour took place at Tashkent🇺🇿 airport.
Main reason for this was welcoming of the first regular flight by "BatikAir" from Kuala Lumpur🇲🇾. Initially an A332 aircraft was planned, but airline made a decision to begin flight with B738/B73M aircrafts and making an additional stop at Karachi🇵🇰 for refueling.
Second reason behind the event was beginning of operations of new Uzbek low-cost carrier "HumoAir". During the first stage airline will be performing domestic flight within Uzbekistan on a wet-leased A320 while making 4 pairs of flights per day. When training of new crew will be completed airline is planning to expand their route network outside of Uzbekistan.
We thank the press service of Tashkent airport for invitation and maintaining a good custom of allowing younger photographers to also participate in such events .
